Connect with Us

Reach out in prayer, presence, or curiosity — all hearts are welcome here.

We’re grateful that you feel called to connect with The Now is You - Finca de la Sol.

Whether you wish to attend a gathering, visit the land, stop by the shop, or simply learn more about our way of life, this is where the path begins.

Our connection starts with intention — a shared breath, a message from the heart, a spark of remembrance that brings us closer to the Earth and to each other.

We read every message with care and respond as the land allows — slowly, intentionally, and always with love.

Send Us a Message

Every connection begins with a conversation.

Whether you feel called to attend a ceremony, visit the land, collaborate, or simply learn more about our way of life, we welcome your message with open hearts.

Please share a little about your intention or what you feel drawn to, so we can guide you with clarity and care.

* We live in the middle of nature and often off-grid, so please allow us time to reply.

We will respond as soon as we can — in the rhythm of the land, not the rush of the world.

Prepare for Your Journey

Before stepping onto the sacred land of Finca de la Sol, we invite you to begin your journey with awareness and reverence.

Preparation is part of the ceremony — a way to align your heart, body, and spirit with the energy of the Earth.

In this space, you’ll find guidance on what to bring, how to prepare through the dieta, and the intentions that help you arrive in harmony with the medicines and the land.

The more you prepare, the deeper the journey unfolds. Enter this guide with patience and curiosity — it is your first step into remembrance.

An open-air ceremonial space supported by natural tree trunks. Inside are hammocks, chairs, and a fire pit, with a floor made of dirt or sand. The area appears to be a rustic communal or relaxation space, surrounded by greenery.

Visiting the Land

Finca de la Sol rests in the mountains of Tierras Morenas, Savegre, Costa Rica — a sacred refuge surrounded by lush jungle, flowing rivers, and the vibrant song of life itself.

Perched high in the hills near Tinamastes, Platanillo, Lagunas and Dominical, this land offers sweeping mountain views, fresh air, and deep immersion in nature’s rhythms.

Here, time moves with the pulse of the Earth. We live fully off-grid, guided by the sun, the rain, and the cycles of the moon. Electricity is minimal, the nights glow with firelight and stars, and the jungle becomes both teacher and healer.

When you arrive, you are not simply reaching a destination — you are stepping into a living prayer.

A space of remembrance where the modern world softens and the ancient ways return.

The land itself is part of the ceremony: The trees ground, the birds sing blessings into each day, and the mountains hold everything in quiet protection.

Finca de la Sol is not a resort or retreat center — it is an ancestral sanctuary where life is lived in humility, presence, and reverence for Mother Earth.

All guests arrive through Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José, Costa Rica. From there, you may choose the travel option that best supports your comfort, timing, and budget.

We are happy to assist with coordinating any of these options.

The fastest and most comfortable way to arrive is by taking a short domestic flight from San José to Quepos.

• Flight time: approximately 45 minutes

• Cost: $100 - $120 per passenger

• We will pick you up in Quepos and bring you to Tinamastes, where we gather before ascending the mountain

This option is ideal for those arriving internationally with minimal suitcases or wishing to arrive early for their journey into the jungle.

Gathering Point Before the Mountain

All guests meet first at our shop in Tinamastes, where we welcome everyone and prepare for the final journey to the finca.

From there, we provide transportation up the mountain unless you prefer to follow in your own 4x4 vehicle.

A Sacred Arrival

The final portion of the journey winds through lush valleys, river crossings, and mountain paths. It is a beautiful transition into nature — one that invites presence and grounding.

Details about the mountain drive, recommended vehicles, and safety tips can be found in the What to Expect on the Journey section below.

What to Expect

The journey to Finca de la Sol is part of the experience — an initiation into slowing down, breathing deeper, and letting nature guide your steps.

From Dominical, it is about one hour of travel, entering through Peaks Road and passing Lagunas.

From Tinamastes, the drive takes around 45 minutes, entering through Platanillo and passing San Juan de Dios.

A 4x4 vehicle is required, and cars should not be too low to the ground, as there is a gentle river crossing before arriving at the finca.

During the rainy season, we recommend arriving earlier in the day, as the afternoons often bring cleansing rain.

Driving at night is not advised — not for safety concerns, but to allow you to truly see and feel the beauty of the mountain road.

The roads are safe and well-traveled by locals — like most mountain paths, they are dirt roads, unpaved yet full of life and wonder.

⚠️ Important: Please do not take the route through Hatillo or the Carretera de la Muerte (Death Road).

These roads are extremely steep, narrow, and unsafe for most vehicles.

Always use the Lagunas–Peaks Road or Platanillo–San Juan de Dios routes to reach Finca de la Sol safely.
